Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineering

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer in Chon Buri to manage the quality performance of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) suppliers. The engineer ensures suppliers meet ADI's quality requirements, manufacturing standards and customer-specific requirements, and acts as the primary quality contact for the assigned suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance and act as the main quality contact for assigned OSAT suppliers
• Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Quality, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Operations, Planning and other cross-functional teams
• Provide technical engineering support for customer complaints, containment of nonconforming material and internal MRB reviews
• Drive quality investigations, timely containment and corrective actions, and promote sustainable supplier improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, Science or an equivalent discipline
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in supplier quality, semiconductor manufacturing, assembly and test, process engineering, product quality or manufacturing quality
• Strong structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, 8D and 5-Why, and corrective and preventive action skills
• Ability to interpret manufacturing data, failure analysis results, yield performance, defect Pareto trends and process capability
• Experience with supplier audits, customer audit support, MRB reviews and process or material change management
• Working knowledge of quality-management systems, preferably IATF 16949, ISO 9001, FMEA, ESD controls and automotive quality requirements
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, self-driven, able to work independently and across geographically distributed teams, and willing to travel to OSAT sites about 10% of the time
