Senior Executive, Demand Planning & Business Analyst

About the role

Thai AirAsia X is hiring a full-time Senior Executive, Demand Planning & Business Analyst based at Don Mueang International Airport, within the Inflight Services Department. The role covers demand forecasting, inventory planning and business analysis to ensure optimal product availability, efficient inventory use and smooth inflight operations, while supporting AirAsia's internal culture, governance transparency and brand image.

Key responsibilities

• Track aging stock and product shortages and create action plans with the buying team to clear old items and restock on time.
• Align product forecasts and flight meal distribution with passenger numbers, sales goals and planned promotions to meet revenue targets.
• Analyze financial risks to guide restocking, handle purchase requisitions for all item categories and advise on launching new products.
• Work with flight operations and external caterers on schedule changes, meal order notices and correct on-board meal loading.
• Keep item records (SKUs) up to date and run regular reports on passenger loads, pre-booked meals, sales trends and food wastage or shortages.
• Resolve demand issues quickly, share best practices and support demand planners in other regional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience, preferably in retail/e-commerce demand planning, analytics or buying/merchandising; prior business analyst experience in aviation or airline catering is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication, both spoken and written.
• Computer literacy with Google Workspace and MS Office Suite.
