Value Management Office Lead - Engagement Manager

About the role

Kyndryl is seeking a highly experienced Value Management Office (VMO) Lead - Engagement Manager to lead the VMO for a strategic AI and Agentic transformation portfolio. The role combines executive stakeholder engagement, governance leadership, AI consulting expertise and business value realization. It is not a traditional PMO role: the post-holder acts as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, bridging business and technology and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and operate the VMO for a portfolio of AI and Agentic initiatives.
• Drive governance, executive reporting, risk management and value realization across multiple projects.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews to monitor progress, utilization, priorities and business outcomes.
• Own escalation management and coordinate timely resolution of delivery, funding and operational issues.
• Partner with client stakeholders to identify business challenges and shape AI and Agentic transformation opportunities.
• Lead discovery workshops and turn business needs into roadmaps, solutions and business cases.
• Identify, qualify and develop new AI and Agentic opportunities, including executive presentations.
• Work with consulting, architecture, delivery and commercial teams to deliver measurable results.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading complex transformation programs, PMOs, VMOs, strategic initiatives or consulting engagements.
• Proven success delivering client-facing consulting and managing senior executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation and emerging digital technologies.
• Ability to build business cases, value realization frameworks and executive presentations.
• Preferred: experience leading AI, automation or digital transformation programs in large enterprises, and consulting experience in technology services, systems integration or management consulting.
