Accounting Manager – Bangkok (Relocation Provided)

About the role

Agoda is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for multiple legal entities in its fast‑moving global online travel agency. Based in Bangkok with relocation support, you will shape accounting processes, partner with business leaders and drive strategic value across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate accounts for all entities, including group consolidation.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closes in a deadline‑driven, regulated environment and continuously improve close processes.
• Produce timely and insightful monthly management accounts and financial updates for senior management.
• Lead and develop the management accounting/nominal ledger team, fostering career growth.
• Coordinate with auditors, IT, and tax teams from planning through filing.
• Collaborate with other finance managers to achieve department goals.
• Advise on non‑routine reporting transactions and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Drive cross‑functional projects to enhance balance‑sheet reconciliations, streamline adjustments, and implement AI‑enabled automation.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting and reporting for multinational entities.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Ability to lead process‑improvement projects and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort with experimenting on AI, automation, and data‑driven solutions.
• Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail.
