Area IT Manager, South East Asia and Pacific

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for an Area IT Manager for its South East Asia and Pacific region. The role covers the installation, upgrade and support of hotel IT systems across assigned hotels, acting as a liaison between hotels, system vendors and the group, and mentoring new hotel IT managers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure hotel IT system installations and upgrades are completed on time, within budget and to brand standards, and monitor actual versus budgeted costs
• Coordinate installations and conversions, run pre-installation meetings and review variances from brand standards
• Provide escalated first- and second-level support and act as liaison between vendors, hotels and the group, including dispute resolution and bill collection
• Train staff, mentor new hotel IT managers and write technical and user documentation
• Support ASO offices with infrastructure management (workstations, servers, network, Active Directory, backup, email, VPN)
• Take part in hotel openings, conversions, IT audits, property improvement plans and product testing, and work with developers to improve products

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems implementation, infrastructure management, technical support or IT project coordination within hospitality
• Proven experience managing hotel IT system installations, upgrades and conversions within timelines, budgets and standards
• Project management experience: planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, budget management and risk handling
• Ability to assess compliance with brand IT standards and communicate product and industry changes
• Willingness to travel to assigned hotels

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel systems, hospitality technology solutions and approved vendor products
• Understanding of IT infrastructure: workstations, servers, networks, Active Directory, backup, email and VPN
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
