Art Technician

About the role

The Creative Arts Technician will support the student and parent experience at Bangkok Preparatory School as part of the Secondary Creative Arts faculty. The role ensures that studios, workshops and performance spaces are well‑organized, safely maintained and fully equipped for Music, Drama, Art, Photography, Design Technology and Digital Media.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and inspiring environments in art studios, design technology labs, drama black‑box, music rooms and related storage areas, coordinating with maintenance and external providers as needed.
• Monitor stock levels of materials and order supplies to keep classrooms and studios fully equipped for lessons and projects.
• Prepare and set up resources, equipment and props for lessons, school productions, concerts and exhibitions across all Creative Arts disciplines.
• Assist teachers in developing resources, lesson materials and event programmes, and support administrative tasks such as photocopying, laminating and reprographics.
• Liaise with site maintenance, cleaning staff and specialist technicians to ensure specialist equipment, tools and machinery are safe, serviced and ready for use.
• Represent the Creative Arts faculty within the school community, promote student achievements and help publicise events and displays.
