Data Engineer

About the role

The Data Engineer acts as a bridge between business needs and data solutions. Collaborates with stakeholders across functions to make data accessible and trustworthy, enabling data‑driven decision‑making through scalable and sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical & Production and Supply Chain stakeholders to deliver trusted data and analytics solutions that improve visibility of production, manufacturing performance, inventory, supply planning, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure business data is accurate, accessible, and fit for decision‑making while driving continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and data‑quality initiatives supporting operational excellence and digital transformation.
• Lead and support data and analytics initiatives by coordinating project activities, managing priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of agreed outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with Technical & Production, Supply Chain, and other business stakeholders to understand needs, manage expectations, communicate progress, and drive adoption of data solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading technical evaluations and resolving technical issues, including those involving third parties.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and simplify technical terms for non‑technical users.
• Effective communication skills in English at all organizational levels and experience working in a global, virtual‑team environment.
