Direct Shipment Officer

About the role

The Direct Shipment Officer supports Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) by managing the shipment of aircraft components for Thai Airways under the FHS contract. Based in the Bangkok area at the THAI Technical facility, the role works closely with the Head of Component & Repair in Bangkok and reports to the Direct Shipment Leader in Toulouse.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipment of unserviceable and serviceable parts from airline bases to suppliers or FHS warehouses.
• Maintain aircraft configuration data and ensure alignment with customer MIS.
• Track logistic issues and follow up with freight forwarders until parts are collected.
• Perform visual inspections of components and packaging according to FHS checklists.
• Create repair orders, record digital images, and update all relevant timestamps in the FHS information system.
• Input airline fleet flying hour records and communicate regularly with Toulouse and the customer on backlogs, stock levels, and part availability.

Required profile

• Experience in aviation logistics or component handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under defined processes.
• Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Airbus FHS information system or similar logistics IT tools.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and validate documentation for aircraft parts.
