Director, Business Development – Government Engagement

About the role

The Director, Business Development (Government Engagement) will align Mastercard’s products, services and ecosystem to address government challenges in financial inclusion, citizen services, economic development and operational excellence across Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create new growth opportunities for Mastercard in Thailand.
• Strengthen strategic partnerships and drive sales of digital platforms and solutions.
• Deepen relationships with government entities, win project mandates and expand merchant acceptance.
• Lead the Financial Inclusion, Mobility and Government Sales verticals, providing guidance to business leads.
• Collaborate with regional teams to meet revenue and strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Energetic, enterprising individual with high initiative and agility.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to integrate knowledge across technology, operations, sales, product, marketing, compliance and risk.
• Self‑driven, organized, proactive and capable of multitasking.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially focused with strong influencing skills.
• Experience in government business, tender processes, managing government relationships and co‑developing solutions.
• Proven ability to mobilize programs across multiple organisations and deliver successful outcomes.
• Post‑graduate qualification preferred.
