Electrical & Automation Engineering Superintendent – Warehouse Automation

About the role

Lead electrical and automation engineering projects from concept design through installation, commissioning, start‑up, and operational handover. Deliver end‑to‑end automation solutions for warehouse and end‑of‑line operations, integrating ASRS, AGV/AMR, conveyor and sortation systems, robotic palletising, WCS and WMS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from feasibility studies to detailed design, vendor selection, FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Deliver automation solutions involving ASRS, AGV/AMR, conveyors, sortation, robotic palletising/de‑palletising, and integration with WCS and WMS.
• Integrate PLC, SCADA/HMI, industrial communication networks, robotics, safety control systems and digital monitoring solutions.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, contractors and suppliers to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, IT/OT, Quality, Safety, OEMs, consultants and contractors.
• Drive initiatives that improve safety, efficiency, reliability, traceability and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, machinery safety, cybersecurity standards and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial, warehouse or logistics automation and capital project execution.
• Proven track record managing projects from concept through operational handover.
• Hands‑on experience with ASRS, AGV/AMR, conveyors, sortation, robotic palletising and WCS/WMS integration.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA/HMI, industrial networks, robotics and functional safety.
• Experience leading OEMs, engineering consultants, contractors and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities with a passion for Industry 4.0.
