Engineering Manager – Full Stack & Front End (AI)

About the role

Agoda is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of full‑stack and front‑end engineers building AI‑enabled web experiences for its global travel platform. The role combines hands‑on coding with people leadership, guiding the delivery of high‑performance, scalable applications that serve millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing and maintaining large‑scale web applications using modern front‑end frameworks.
• Drive the integration of AI‑powered features and workflows into user‑facing products.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Shape architecture decisions around state management, server‑side rendering, micro‑frontends and API integration.
• Ensure new features are performant, observable, maintainable and production‑ready.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices such as code reviews, testing and continuous delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams that build large‑scale web applications.
• Strong hands‑on background in front‑end development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
