Engineering Technician (Site Supervision & QAQC) – Electrical

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to lead on‑site supervision and QA/QC for electrical works on our Rayong project. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety regulations and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and quality compliance.
• Verify that works are executed according to approved drawings, material specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors and owner’s representatives to resolve site issues.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings and inspection requests.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management.
• Support installation, testing, energisation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with Thai construction and safety regulations and monitor site safety practices.
• Inspect electrical and communication installations including power distribution, MDB/DB panels, fire alarm, public address, security, lightning protection and grounding systems.
• Conduct final inspections and close‑out punch‑list items with the owner.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site supervision and QA/QC for electrical construction projects.
• Familiarity with Thai construction and safety regulations.
• Ability to work closely with engineers, contractors and client representatives.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate progress reports.

Required skills

• Electrical installation inspection.
• Power distribution systems and MDB/DB panel knowledge.
• Fire alarm, public address, security and lightning protection systems.
• Material submittal and shop drawing review.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Site safety monitoring.
