Foreign Trade Manager – Thailand

About the role

The Foreign Trade Manager will lead Bosch Thailand's import and export compliance activities, driving duty savings and ensuring seamless international trade operations. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines team management with strategic trade optimisation across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Foreign Trade Thailand team, guaranteeing full compliance with export/import regulations, including Country of Origin and Harmonized Parts Classification.
• Identify and implement duty reduction opportunities by validating parts classifications and securing favourable customs rulings.
• Develop risk assessments and gap analyses for international trade issues, ensuring adherence to Free Trade Agreements and national standards.
• Monitor customs service provider performance and compliance programmes through KPIs, preparing saving reports and service‑level analyses.
• Design and manage internal control programmes for trade compliance, such as Import Control System (ICS) checks and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align trade processes with broader business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international trade compliance and customs regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical mindset capable of conducting risk assessments and performance analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across regional and global partners.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Thai language is a plus.
