Hydraulic Engineer

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Built Environment team in Bangkok as a Hydraulic Engineer, focusing on plumbing and fire‑protection design for building and infrastructure projects. You will work alongside senior engineers to deliver BIM‑driven solutions that support economic development worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Produce plumbing and fire‑protection designs, calculations and reports under senior guidance.
• Analyse technical information, applying relevant codes and standards.
• Design systems and create/maintain BIM models using Revit.
• Develop detailed Revit models and calculations for plumbing and fire‑protection.
• Prepare and publish construction documentation to meet project schedules.
• Update existing models and documents as required.
• Create and maintain regional BIM templates.
• Participate in coordination meetings for clash detection and resolution.
• Support information exchange between internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide coordination support during construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sanitary, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in MEP building services design or construction.
• Basic knowledge of design modelling and drawing production principles.
• Familiarity with BIM Forum LOD specifications.
