IT/AI Manager – Strategic Tech & AI Lead

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on IT/AI Manager to lead the transformation of our technical infrastructure. You will centralize and secure our Google Workspace environment, integrate AI tools, and ensure reliable, scalable services for our growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise Google Workspace, including user lifecycle, Gmail security and shared Drive architecture.
• Manage hardware procurement, inventory and vendor relationships while maintaining 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies such as MFA, SSO, MDM and data encryption.
• Design and execute a data‑centralisation plan to eliminate silos and enable seamless data access.
• Build automated pipelines and APIs linking platforms like Asana, BambooHR and Airtable.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities (e.g., Gemini, LLM‑based tools) and train staff on prompt engineering.
• Oversee website hosting, security (SSL, backups) and performance optimisation for jumpfoundation.org.
• Manage the IT budget, report system health and project milestones to senior leadership, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
