Lab Technician – Beauty & Personal Care (SEA&ANZ)

About the role

The Lab Technician will support the Beauty & Personal Care business by preparing prototype formulations, conducting product testing, and maintaining daily laboratory operations across the SEA & ANZ region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare personal care prototype formulations according to project guidelines.
• Conduct laboratory testing and evaluate product performance and characteristics.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, equipment calibration, and waste disposal in line with safety and environmental standards.
• Record formulation details, test results, and other laboratory data accurately.
• Prepare technical marketing materials such as formulation content and presentation assets when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in laboratory work, formulation development or product testing.
• Experience with chemical laboratory inventory management and equipment operation.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory practices.
• Practical understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
