Laser Welding Specialist

About the role

As a Laser Welding Specialist you will be the technical hub for laser welding processes at Bosch's smart manufacturing plant in Rayong, Thailand. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering and production teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality welding operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of laser welding products and machine technology, especially Trumpf systems.
• Transfer laser welding know‑how to Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Production teams.
• Create and deploy standardised procedures, TPM concepts, daily check sheets and work instructions for stable machine performance.
• Define spare‑part strategies in coordination with Trumpf and global suppliers to minimise downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement of laser welding processes, including laser source upgrades and quality enhancements.
• Act as technical leader for complex troubleshooting and competency development across teams.
• Serve as single point of contact with the Center of Competence, IPN and laser suppliers for knowledge exchange and alignment.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of laser welding products and machine technology.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and improving laser welding processes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
