Lead Engineer - Stock Trading App

About the role

DoitWe is building next‑generation financial tools powered by AI. We are seeking a Lead Engineer to own the technical design and delivery of a complex stock‑trading application, driving quality and innovation across the product.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable systems spanning backend, frontend, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Write, review, and debug production code, prototype features, and resolve incidents to ensure high availability.
• Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers, raise the engineering bar, and provide actionable feedback on designs and code.
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship high‑quality features quickly.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
• Proven technical leadership on major engineering projects.
• Ability to work hands‑on, review code, debug complex issues and own production reliability.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to influence across distributed teams.
