Local Plant HR Manager & Country HR Leader

About the role

The Local HR Manager / HR Country Leader is the primary human resources partner for the T&O Thailand manufacturing site, combining strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational support. The role drives consistency and harmonization of HR operations across the country and reports to the Regional HR Leader / HR Director.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to align HR priorities with business objectives and advise on organization design, workforce planning, talent needs and change management
• Drive a high-performance, inclusive, values-based culture and champion employee development, learning and career growth (talent review, succession planning)
• Support recruitment and onboarding, and act as primary advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management and policy interpretation
• Manage sensitive workplace issues, investigations, disciplinary actions and performance improvement processes with confidentiality
• Ensure consistent execution of core HR processes and annual cycles, implementing enterprise policies in line with local legal and compliance requirements
• Partner on compensation, benefits, payroll inputs and employee data management
• Support engagement initiatives, embed employee feedback and HR metrics, and promote inclusion, respect and accountability
• Collaborate with regional HR business partners, centers of excellence and shared services, and lead, coach and develop local HR team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience covering both strategic partnership and operational HR management
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a global organization preferred
• Strong knowledge of local employment law and HR compliance
• Fluent oral and written English
• Ability to handle tough, confidential and sensitive matters with integrity and sound judgment
