Manager - Operations (Warehouse)

About the role

Maersk is looking for a hands-on warehouse operations professional to optimize processes, improve inventory accuracy and lead high-performing teams. The role drives operational efficiency, uses WMS capabilities and supports a growing e-commerce logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage goods movement and goods receipt, and keep performance records to monitor productivity
• Ensure processes are properly executed and controlled in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Identify stock accuracy issues and propose solutions, and oversee daily warehouse operations
• Oversee goods receipt, put-away, inventory movement, dispatch and export
• Build strong working relationships with internal departments and customers
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and a safe working environment
• Run SWOT analysis on operations and improve operational KPIs
• Monitor staff performance and act when it does not meet company policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in International Business, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years in inventory control and 5 years in warehouse operations
• Minimum 3 years in e-commerce operations
• Good command of written and spoken English

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with WMS, inventory control systems and e-commerce operations
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, able to build management and customer KPI reports
• Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
