MCH Technical Advisor – Asia Region

About the role

The CORE Group Partners Project (CGPP) is seeking a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Technical Advisor to support its Asia‑region activities. Based in Bangkok, the advisor will work full‑time on a consulting contract, reporting to the CGPP Deputy Global Director and Technical Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for MCH program design, implementation and evaluation across multiple Asian countries.
• Strengthen health system components related to nutrition, malaria, immunisation, polio eradication and disease surveillance.
• Coordinate with country secretariats, ministries of health, agriculture and livestock, and partner organisations to ensure high‑quality interventions.
• Monitor programme performance, prepare technical reports and contribute to strategic planning.
• Support capacity‑building activities for local stakeholders and civil‑society partners.

Required profile

• Experience in maternal and child health, public health or related fields.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑partner, multi‑country settings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
