Mold Tool Design Engineer – Full-time

About the role

As a Mold Tool Design Engineer you will lead technical projects related to the design, development, and release of plastic mold tools for automotive fuel injector production. You will work on new tools, tool relocations, variants, and continuous improvement initiatives within Bosch's smart factory in Rayong.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead new mold tools, follow‑up and relocation projects.
• Create specification sheets, evaluate measurement reports and develop correction strategies.
• Manage tool release processes, 8D problem‑solving and tooling improvements for series production.
• Coordinate with suppliers on spare parts, new tool orders and tool corrections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tooling, Mechanical, Plastic Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Professional experience in the plastic mold industry, specifically in mold tool design and release.

Required skills

• CAD software – preferably Siemens NX.
• 3D scan evaluation – preferably GOM.
• Basic Moldflow simulation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
