Partnership Facilitator – Thai-Myanmar Border

About the role

Compassion is looking for a Partnership Facilitator to work at the Thai-Myanmar border (Tak or Kanchanaburi Province). The role works alongside community partners to strengthen their capacity to serve children and youth through holistic ministry, empowering communities and building strong partnerships. Depending on experience and capabilities, candidates may be hired at Level I (entry), Level II (intermediate) or Level III (experienced).

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with community church partners.
• Support churches in planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children and youth.
• Facilitate capacity building and strengthen church ownership, leadership and resources.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support church and community needs.
• Promote child protection and ensure safe environments for children.
• Engage families, caregivers and community stakeholders to support holistic child development.

Required profile

• Passionate about serving local churches and children's ministry.
• Experience working at a Thai-Myanmar border-based NGO/INGO preferred.
• Knowledge of the Thai-Myanmar border context, the local church setting beyond the border, and community and social issues.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in Karen and/or Burmese, intermediate in Thai; English is a plus.
