Plant Controlling Lead

About the role

The Plant Controlling Lead will be a key business partner to plant operations, establishing and managing financial controlling processes for a new manufacturing facility in Bangkok. The role ensures accurate cost management, performance tracking, and supports operational decision‑making during ramp‑up and stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly closing, forecasting and budgeting for plant operations and prepare plant P&L analysis.
• Establish and maintain standard costing, analyse manufacturing variances and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor startup costs, track ramp‑up performance and support break‑even analysis.
• Oversee capital expenditures, asset capitalization, utilization and depreciation.
• Manage inventory levels, days on hand and collaborate with supply chain to optimise working capital.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs (yield, scrap, OEE, utilisation) and translate performance into financial impact.
• Act as finance business partner to the Plant Manager and functional teams, providing insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
• 8–12 years of finance controlling experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment.
