Pre-Sales Support Engineer, Thailand

About the role

The Pre-Sales Support Engineer acts as a technical expert in customer presentations, working with the sales support or account team. The role defines the technical requirements needed to meet client goals and links the sales and business development teams with engineering. It also handles customer information requests and requests for proposals, and coordinates the handover from pre-sales specifications to implementation engineering after contracts are awarded.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team and help customers and channel partners with technical matters by proposing solutions to system integrators, developers and end users.
• Manage solution projects and coordinate work across divisions.
• Plan and run technical workshops, including programming and on-site technical support, and give sound advice.
• Engage with end users to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Take part in product launches, including planning, demos and product training.
• Carry out market analysis surveys to identify local market trends and needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or a combination of education and experience, in engineering, information systems or business administration.
• Five years of industry experience, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting.
• Proven technology skills, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
