Product Development Assistant Manager

About the role

The Product Development Assistant Manager works closely with the Head of Accident & Health and Underwriting to create and launch new insurance products for the A&H business in Thailand. This role drives ideation, product innovation, and marketing intelligence to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Research, position, and design new product ideas and value propositions.
• Support the Head of Accident & Health and Underwriting in developing the product roadmap and overall strategy.
• Lead ideation discussions and collaborate with distribution teams, agencies, brokers, and external partners.
• Identify opportunities for product bundling across lines and co‑create new offerings.
• Manage the product development process, including approvals, business case documentation, timelines, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Monitor competitor product launches in Thailand and the region and share insights.
• Develop product collateral such as marketing messages, proposals, training materials, and sales scripts.
• Design and support product marketing campaigns with distribution teams and conduct post‑launch analysis.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in insurance, preferably in product design or marketing.
• Creative mindset with ability to apply design‑thinking techniques.
• Team player comfortable working with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
