Production Supervisor, Sikhiu

About the role

Ingredion is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient and reliable 24/7 Starch and Sweetener operations at its Sikhiu Plant in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. Reporting to the Production Manager, the supervisor manages shifts, workforce, budget, quality control and raw-material handling while meeting customer requirements and environmental, health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 Starch and Sweetener operations, troubleshoot issues and prioritise actions to keep production running smoothly
• Drive production KPIs through tier meetings, follow-up actions, RCA and FCA, and support Global IPS certification
• Ensure compliance with procedures, SOPs, life-saving rules, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, GHPs and other standards
• Identify and report safety, environmental and food-safety risks, coordinate root-cause analysis and set corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, GTM and other teams
• Lead, coach and develop production staff through training, performance reviews and staffing support
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards so the plant is ready for customer or audit visits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in FMCG manufacturing or a related industry; experience in modified starch, sweeteners, chemicals or food manufacturing is preferred
• Strong understanding of EHS compliance, GMP, HACCP and quality-management systems
• Demonstrated leadership in operations, flexible to support 24/7 production and on-call for urgent issues
• Good spoken and written English, computer literacy, and SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
