Project Development Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Energía, the world’s largest 100% renewable energy company, is expanding its portfolio in Southeast Asia. The Project Development Manager will lead the development of wind and solar projects in Thailand, guiding initiatives from early identification through financial close while ensuring compliance with internal standards and Thai regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support all project development activities, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver permits, technical studies, and project documentation.
• Oversee site coordinators in land acquisition, surveys, and community engagement.
• Track project progress, timelines, and budgets from origination to construction readiness.
• Review land‑related agreements to ensure consistency with project design and strategy.
• Represent ACCIONA in consultations with landowners, local communities, and government authorities.
• Strengthen relationships with regulatory bodies to secure approvals and align with policy requirements.
• Lead financial and risk analyses to support feasibility assessments and investment decisions.
• Develop and present business cases, project proposals, and annual planning inputs.
