Project Engineering Manager – Electrical & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager (Electrical & Automation) to lead the design, delivery and integration of electrical power distribution, automation and digitalisation initiatives for a major food manufacturing project in Samut Prakan, Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of safe, compliant electrical power systems and optimise distribution networks using digital twin technologies.
• Establish and maintain electrical schematic management processes and standards.
• Manage automation and control systems for plant utilities and process equipment, integrating with SCADA, MES, SAP and other site systems.
• Define PLC, HMI, safety and software architecture standards and ensure maintainability by factory teams.
• Develop maintenance, calibration and lifecycle management strategies for OT readiness and digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinate with digital teams on electrification, utility, data engineering and machine‑learning solutions.
• Support MV switchgear, transformers, substations and electrical rooms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Electrical power distribution and installation, MV switchgear, transformers, substations.
• PLC & HMI programming (Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley or Siemens).
• SCADA platforms, especially AVEVA System Platform.
• MES, SAP integration and digital manufacturing solutions.
• Digital twins, data analytics and machine‑learning implementation.
• OT/IT integration, Industry 4.0 technologies and GMP compliance.
