Repair Manager

About the role

Support the growth of KONE's service repair business in Thailand by delivering high‑performance service to a diverse customer base while maintaining effective cost control to stay competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Supervisors, Repair Teams and subcontractors to ensure repair orders are executed on time or ahead of schedule.
• Prepare and manage SER OR forecasts with high accuracy, providing weekly updates and escalating risks with mitigation recommendations.
• Track availability of KONE and local parts to align with order targets and execution plans.
• Issue and coordinate monthly repair execution plans with relevant stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment and completion before cut‑off dates.
• Optimize internal repair team utilization to clear backlogs before assigning work to subcontractors.
• Minimize subcontractor costs by working with Procurement to standardize scopes of work and conduct annual bidding exercises.
• Monitor and control backlogs, PR/PO processes, goods receipt, invoicing and TECO processes to ensure timely sales recognition.
• Develop repair team competencies through appropriate job assignments and skill‑development initiatives.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, assess service performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Engineering License in Thailand.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficiency in SAP and other relevant platforms.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the elevator industry is a plus.
