About the role
The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) seeks a home‑based consultant to produce a localized Tsunami Song and music video for World Tsunami Awareness Day 2026 in Indonesia, and to support related school‑based activities.
Key responsibilities
- Adapt the 2025 Timor‑Leste Tsunami Song into Bahasa Indonesia, tailoring lyrics with UNDRR and Indonesian partners.
- Select and engage Indonesian musicians and youth performers suitable for the campaign.
- Support the development of the World Tsunami Awareness Day event concept, integrating the song into school activities.
- Develop, film, edit and subtitle a campaign‑ready music video for digital distribution.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in social sciences, communication, journalism, international development or related field (or a first‑level degree with ≥2 years relevant experience).
- Minimum five years of experience in disaster risk communication, community engagement, behavioral change or public education, preferably in Southeast Asia.
