Senior Credit Controller

About the role

KONE Thailand’s Finance team is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to lead the Credit Controlling function from its head office in Bangkok. The role acts as a trusted business partner, collaborating with finance professionals across Asia‑Pacific and Global Finance to ensure timely collections, strong customer relationships, and tight control of cash flow and bad‑debt risk.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end accounts receivable and collection processes, including progress billing, retention, and variation claims.
• Monitor aging reports, set collection targets and escalate overdue accounts according to company policy.
• Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams to ensure on‑time invoicing, progressive claims, and resolution of billing disputes.
• Review and approve credit terms and limits, manage credit blocks in SAP, and coordinate legal actions for delinquent customers.
• Support external auditors and internal compliance requirements related to receivables and credit management.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international organization; construction experience is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken Thai and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP) and FSCM AR modules.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process‑optimization methodologies.
• Knowledge of digital automation tools for finance transformation.
