Senior Engineering Manager – Fintech (Bangkok, relocation)

About the role

Agoda is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead fintech‑related platforms in Bangkok. You will oversee multiple engineering teams, shape technical strategy, and ensure the reliability and security of high‑volume transaction systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead several engineering teams or a large organization, managing Engineering Managers, senior engineers, and technical leaders.
• Define and execute strategic, cross‑team initiatives that align with business goals.
• Set the technical roadmap for fintech services, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Partner with senior leadership, including Directors, VPs, and C‑level stakeholders.
• Coach and develop engineering leaders to build high‑performing teams.
• Drive major engineering programs and ensure seamless delivery of releases.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large engineering groups in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
• Strong track record of delivering mission‑critical, transaction‑heavy systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor and grow engineering managers and senior technical talent.
