Senior Engineering Manager – Fintech (Bangkok, relocation provided)

About the role

Agoda is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead fintech‑focused engineering teams in Bangkok. You will shape strategy, drive cross‑team execution, and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of payment‑related platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams or a large organization, managing Engineering Managers, senior engineers, and technical leaders.
• Define and execute strategic, cross‑team initiatives and major engineering programs.
• Set the technical roadmap, aligning it with business goals and fintech product requirements.
• Partner with senior leadership (Directors, VPs, C‑level) to influence product direction and resource allocation.
• Develop and coach engineering leaders, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing managers and large engineering groups in a fast‑moving, high‑scale environment.
• Strong background in fintech, payments, or transaction‑heavy systems with emphasis on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy and deliver complex, mission‑critical projects.
