Senior Manager – Sales Home Care (ASEANA)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Sales Home Care will own the commercial P&L for the Home Care business across ASEAN and ANZ, driving sustainable and profitable growth. You will lead a high‑performing sales organisation, shape regional strategy and ensure compliance with BASF standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional commercial targets, including sales volume, revenue, contribution margin, working capital and cash‑flow KPIs.
• Develop and execute the ASEANA Home Care commercial strategy, expanding market share and launching new products.
• Manage strategic accounts, act as executive sponsor for key customers and lead complex negotiations.
• Provide market intelligence, translate trends into actionable growth initiatives and advise regional leadership.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure execution excellence.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional sales team, set performance objectives and succession plans.
• Ensure full compliance with BASF Code of Conduct, EHS standards, trade controls and chemical‑specific regulations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of sales and commercial leadership experience in Home Care, specialty chemicals or related industries.
• Proven track record of managing regional P&L and delivering profitable growth.
• Experience leading multi‑country sales teams in ASEAN and ANZ.
• Strong strategic account management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English; additional ASEAN language proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
