Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for indirect materials and services, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Based in Bangpoo, Samutprakan, the role acts as a key partner to internal stakeholders and external suppliers, driving efficiency through digitalisation and sustainable sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement cycle for indirect spend, from requisition to payment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and promote digital tools to improve process efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, support supplier development, and negotiate contracts to secure reliable supply chains.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact for site‑ or country‑specific procurement needs for smaller sites or contribute as a member of a cluster team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on value‑chain projects and represent Procurement as an equal partner in sourcing teams.
• Adapt to evolving business requirements, including involvement in project procurement management and further digitalisation efforts.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemistry, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably within a multi‑group chemical company.
• Procurement experience is a strong plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
