Senior Service Sales Engineer

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY (Thailand) Limited is looking for a Senior Service Sales Engineer in Bangkok to join its Service business in Thailand. Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, the role maintains and enhances customer satisfaction by delivering excellent solutions from the first stage of a project.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings and propose technical solutions for complex enquiries.
• Drive sales volume and margin across the Hitachi Energy Service product portfolio, update the installed base with on-site changes and establish long-term customer relationships.
• Prepare and review sales plans, propose recovery actions and offer product, solution and service training and advice to customers.
• Review enquiry specifications, perform analytical and diagnostic studies to find the best technical solution, and prepare and check technical articles for publication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably with power transformer products, power substations, LV, MV and HV switchgear.
• Sound knowledge of substation services and the overseas markets of Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships and willingness to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of SFDC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers, strong communication and planning skills, and good English.
