Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment in a fast‑paced shipping and logistics environment. You will act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, ensuring the attraction and hiring of high‑quality talent aligned with business goals and company culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, hiring priorities, and role requirements across functions.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, talent communities, and industry networks.
• Build and maintain pipelines for critical and recurring logistics roles, including frontline operations and leadership positions.
• Conduct thorough CV screening, structured phone/video interviews, and coordinate interview processes to ensure a consistent candidate experience.
• Provide market insights, talent availability, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead offer discussions, manage negotiations, and ensure smooth transition to onboarding.
• Monitor talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and support employer branding initiatives.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or similar fast‑paced industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven track record managing end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple levels and functions.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to interpret recruitment metrics.
• High integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
