Senior/Staff Data Engineer – Bangkok (Relocation Provided)

About the role

Join Agoda's platform team building the next generation of natural‑language analytics. As a Senior/Staff Data Engineer you will own the governed knowledge layer that sits between our data warehouse and the applications, assistants, and analysts that consume it. The role is based in Bangkok with relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate a shared knowledge layer for conversational analytics, turning scattered business knowledge into versioned, reviewable assets.
• Model governed metrics, dimensions, joins and grain for multiple business domains.
• Structure expert context, glossaries and validated question patterns as Git‑reviewed assets.
• Build freshness, drift and validation signals; treat stale knowledge as a production issue.
• Expose the layer through APIs so applications and agents receive deterministic answers.
• Enable domain owners to propose, review and publish knowledge without engineering deployments.
• Collaborate with analytics, product and platform teams on access control and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong background in semantic modeling, knowledge engineering and data platform design.
• Ability to work independently and partner across cross‑functional teams.
