Transportation Procurement Executive

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Transportation Procurement Executive to lead sourcing, supplier management and contract compliance for trucking, cross‑border and customs clearance services in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sourcing activities, support RFQs, tenders and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with transportation vendors and customs brokers, monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Prepare contracts, ensure compliance with company policies, HSSE standards and maintain proper documentation.
• Support market analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities and contribute to savings targets.
• Coordinate with Operations, Product, Finance and other stakeholders to meet procurement requirements.
• Utilise procurement tools, drive process improvements and standardisation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in transportation procurement or similar role within 3PL/logistics.
• Strong local market insight, existing vendor network, preferably middle‑mile transport vendors.
• Native Thai language proficiency and fluent English.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, high integrity, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems.
• Analytical skills for cost and performance tracking.
