Electrical Design Engineer – Buildings & Data Centers

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Built Environmental business in Bangkok. You will work on a variety of building and infrastructure projects, including data centres, delivering high‑quality electrical and communication system designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical and communication systems for buildings and infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed calculations and construction documentation.
• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models and update existing models.
• Create and maintain regional BIM templates.
• Lead design coordination meetings, perform clash detection and resolution.
• Provide coordination support during construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑6 years of experience designing electrical and communication systems.
• Professional Engineer License issued by the Council of Engineers, Thailand.
• Strong English communication skills and computer literacy.
• Familiarity with BIMForum LOD, AIA and NBIMS standards.
• Good knowledge of construction technology and practices.
