Lead Structural Engineer

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Built Environment business in Bangkok as a Lead Structural Engineer, where you will help turn complex building and infrastructure concepts into reality. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on high‑rise, low‑rise, and large‑scale projects across Thailand and the region.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and review structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications and reports.
• Design high‑rise and low‑rise buildings, including reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned and steel structures.
• Develop and validate analysis models using finite‑element software such as STAAD PRO, SAFE, SAP2000 and ETAB.
• Collaborate with professionals from other disciplines and provide design support throughout project phases.
• Maintain core engineering and technical competencies while working independently or within a team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license (Council of Engineers, Thailand) – 2nd level preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Strong English communication skills and computer literacy.
• Experience with structural analysis programs and design of RC, post‑tensioned and steel structures.

Required skills

• STAAD PRO, SAFE, SAP2000, ETAB, RAPT, ETABS.
• Finite‑element modelling and structural analysis.
• Design of reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned and steel structures, including tall buildings.
