Medical Sales Representative (Hybrid)

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Medical Sales Representative in Bangkok, working in a hybrid arrangement. The role focuses on selling and promoting specialized products and services to healthcare professionals within a defined territory, using knowledge of therapeutic disciplines and specialty areas to grow sales and build customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target customers and physicians, profile them and maintain and analyse customer records.
• Educate the target audience on the features and benefits of specialty products compared with competitors to increase prescriptions and use.
• Manage objections and escalate complex queries, and keep the Line Manager informed of competitor and market changes.
• Plan calls, conduct sales interviews and use CRM and electronic territory management systems to record daily calls.
• Organise group events for the specialty area in line with local legislation and share experiences to support colleagues' training.
• Complete career development courses, adverse event reporting and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of prior relevant experience in medical sales.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business or a related field.
• Good understanding of the healthcare market and its procedures.
• Desirable: experience with cardiometabolic, insulin or biosimilar products.

Required skills

• Fluent use of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication and ability to give face-to-face presentations.
• Ability to build working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
