Senior Accountant

About the role

Coface is expanding its Finance team and is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant in Bangkok. The role goes beyond routine accounting: it covers financial analysis, liquidity management, investment case support, operational excellence and accounting simplification with the shared service team, and strong finance governance and control.

Key responsibilities

• Financial planning, budgeting and analysis for Coface Services South Asia Pacific (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia) and Coface Service (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, including key variance analysis reviewed with Country Managers and the Regional CFO
• Liquidity management: prepare cash forecasts and ensure sufficient working capital
• Fulfill local statutory filing requirements: PT PMA Indonesia with the Corporate Secretary, Malaysia with the external accounting firm, and Singapore ACRA filings such as AGM and board resolutions
• Lead tax, audit and compliance for the entities in scope, coordinating with external auditors and tax firms on monthly, quarterly and annual statements and tax filings
• Act as level 1 control owner for internal audit, compliance and risk management, collaborating with the internal auditor, compliance officer and risk manager
• Lead a special project in 2027 for Coface Thailand and review the shared service team's work in India
• Support the Regional CFO's operational excellence initiative and collaborate with the Shared Service Center in Bangalore

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in FP&A, accounting or audit
• CPA and/or CPD certification preferred but not required
