Business Development Manager – Wealth Management

About the role

Howden Private Wealth is an independent insurance broker with over 40 years of experience, serving private banks, family offices and law and tax advisory firms. As part of the Howden Group's Marketing and Products team, the Business Development Manager works in a fast-paced environment, taking part in commercial and strategic discussions on the firm's proposition within the private wealth ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with key referral partners to raise awareness of wealth management and life insurance planning among their existing clients
• Help open new referral partnerships through personal contacts and networks
• Provide market intelligence and report on business development activities, such as partner penetration levels and conversion ratios
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and institutionalize individual banker relationships where needed
• Promote Howden Private Wealth's thought leadership to create business opportunities
• Train and coach referral partners on wealth management and life insurance planning
• Identify client opportunities for wealth management services with referral partners
• Plan and support introducer and client marketing events
• Support the administration of general documentation, meeting setup and medicals
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and group policies and procedures

Required profile

• Experience in distributing or selling wealth management services, especially life insurance, in the HNW space
• At least 5 years' experience in the wealth management industry
• Fluent spoken and written Thai and English, and a confident presenter
• Ideally licensed in Thailand to conduct life insurance advisory
• Entrepreneurial, able to work independently, and passionate about wealth planning
