About the role
The United Nations Development Programme in Thailand is seeking a Climate Policy Analyst to support its Climate Action Portfolio. The role involves research, policy analysis, project coordination, monitoring and implementation support for climate‑related initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day coordination and implementation support for assigned climate‑action projects, ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
- Monitor project progress against workplans, budgets and indicators, and prepare progress and financial reports for supervisors and donors.
- Coordinate with implementing partners, consultants and UNDP teams, and maintain project documentation in compliance with UNDP procedures.
Required profile
- Background in climate change policy, sustainable energy, climate adaptation or mitigation.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination and organizational skills, with ability to work across interconnected climate and development issues.
