Creative Director - Design & Projects

About the role

dwp is looking for a Creative Director in Bangkok to provide creative leadership and strategic direction for all design projects, in line with its design philosophy and brand identity. The role oversees the design process from inception, with a focus on winning creative concepts and presentations for competitions and design pitches, and leads a team of design directors, senior designers and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Set the creative direction for the portfolio and mentor design directors, senior designers and designers
• Review and approve design proposals, presentations and design documentation
• Lead design teams on competitions and design pitches, and support the team on others
• Oversee projects from inception to completion, keeping them on time, within budget and to quality standard
• Conduct design reviews, visit project sites and give actionable feedback
• Help recruit, train and develop design staff, and run performance reviews
• Collaborate with marketing, business development, project management and finance, and represent the company with clients
• Lead creative efforts in proposals and presentations, contribute to marketing materials and support international design award submissions
• Prepare reports to the Portfolio Director / Managing Director and attend portfolio meetings
• Ensure work follows company policies and quality standards, and embed AI tools such as LLMs and generative AI into design, visualization and workflow

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in architectural or interior design, with a proven track record delivering projects across Lifestyle, Community and Workplace portfolios
• Registration with an architecture or interior design professional body
• Strong design portfolio and excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Proficiency in design presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion and Twinmotion
• Understanding of BIM software such as Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Navisworks, and ability to guide teams in their use
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with DTP and CRM software
• Experience leading design of competition-winning presentations
