Finance Analyst (Digital-Forward, Finance Planning & Analysis)

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Digital-Forward Finance Analyst to join its growing finance team in Chonburi, within the Internal Backend Operations Finance unit. The role blends traditional financial rigor with modern digital tools to drive factory spending efficiency, and expects the analyst to use automation, data visualization and AI-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy and give leadership real-time, actionable business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Finance planning and analysis (70%): perform financial forecasting and budgeting, including month-end closing and journal entries; provide timely variance analysis and recommendations, including scenario analysis
• Act as a strategic business partner with cross-functional teams, using data-driven storytelling to guide operational decisions
• Analyze and validate cost-saving opportunities
• Identify, design and implement automated solutions (RPA or advanced scripting) for recurring reports, reducing time-to-report
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) showing cost drivers and operational performance
• Develop automated financial models using predictive analytics and machine learning, and run make-vs-buy and in-house vs. outsource scenario analyses

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field (CPA/MBA or Data Analytics certification is a plus)
• 1+ year of experience in financial planning and analysis, with an interest in financial systems and process improvement
• Experience in MNCs and understanding of a manufacturing environment
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to interpret data, find trends and anomalies, and communicate complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders

Required skills

• Understanding of cost accounting principles
• Advanced Excel, especially Power Query and Power Pivot
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Bonus: basic knowledge of automation tools such as Alteryx, Python or VBA
