International Consultant – Anti-Corruption & Trafficking in Persons

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) seeks an International Consultant to provide technical and analytical support for the PROTECT project, focusing on integrity, corruption risks and trafficking in persons (TIP) within the Indonesia‑Malaysia labour migration corridor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the PROTECT project implementation, including research, mapping, and facilitating stakeholder workshops in Indonesia and Malaysia.
• Lead the assessment of integrity and corruption risks and TIP vulnerabilities in Malaysia’s migrant worker recruitment, placement and employment processes.
• Produce stakeholder consultation reports, validation workshop materials, and an integrated synthesis report for the Indonesia‑Malaysia labour‑migration corridor.
• Present and validate findings through national and joint workshops, incorporating stakeholder feedback into final recommendations.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in law, public policy, international development or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in anti‑corruption, human trafficking or labour‑migration assessments, preferably in Southeast Asia.
• Proven ability to conduct research, stakeholder consultations and produce analytical reports.
