Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager

About the role

Ingredion is hiring a Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager for its Kalasin plant in Thailand. The role leads the maintenance team so that facilities, layout, machinery and utilities run at maximum efficiency and output. It reports to the Plant Manager, oversees four direct reports and includes leading water supply and wastewater treatment management. The workplace is on-site and relocation within the country is available.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures that improve operational performance and plant reliability.
• Lead the maintenance team to ensure machine availability, utility reliability and responsive handling of mechanical, electrical and equipment breakdowns, working with shift operations.
• Drive equipment optimization in line with standard procedures to improve performance, product quality and physical asset control.
• Oversee maintenance procedures and activities, ensuring safety compliance and timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Develop, coach and manage a high-performing maintenance team focused on best practice and continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance budgets and cost reporting, aligned with legal, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Lead water supply and wastewater treatment management to meet requirements while optimizing operating costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in a multinational food and beverage or chemical manufacturing environment.
• Extensive plant-level maintenance and problem-solving experience, with strong knowledge of equipment reliability and operational improvement.
• Strong English, written and spoken; Senior Person Responsible for Energy certification preferred.
• A strong people leader able to coach teams, influence stakeholders and drive change management.
• Comfortable managing cross-functional team members and building partnerships across the plant.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with TPM/WCM, especially Planned Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
• Knowledge of water supply systems and wastewater treatment management.
• Excellent command of English.
